Let me start by stating an unknown Fact…
Well we all know this Gentleman…

ALEXANDER THE GREAT…
Everyone’s familiar with him…or atleast heard of him…

But, did you know that there is absolutely no archeological evidence to prove that Alexander the Great existed?

That’s not in your history books…

Everything we know about Alexander the Great comes from three historians who lived between ‘150 and 400 years after Alexander died’
Strabo, Arian and Plutarch…

Today… I’ll try to explore the idea of existence of Giants in the epics…
We read and hear about a lot of Giants in the epics…
Ghatotkacha, Kumbhakarna etc…

Let me tell you about something which happened just about 11 years ago…

A fascinating discovery …

In 2008, An archeological team working in Russia in a cave called Denisova discovered a tooth…

A big Tooth… The surface area of this tooth was almost 2.5 times that of the average human tooth.

So, they thought this must belong to a large, now extinct animal and they sent it for DNA Testing to try and figure out to whom the tooth belonged.

Imagine their shock when the DNA test results came back saying that the tooth belonged to a human being…

A Human Species we did not know existed until this tooth was found.

So, They gave it a new name… ‘The DENISOVANS’…

And I am gonna share three fascinating Scientific Discoveries which you will find in the scientific reports about the Denisovans over the last 11 years.

The first one…

All the People Living Today in the Geographical areas covered by the Green Line… (which is quite substantive…)

All of us have Denisovan DNA…

2.4 % of our DNA is Denisovan DNA… This is a fact.

Second Interesting thing is this bracelet…

Denisovans lived around 30,000-40,000 years ago.

This Bracelet is 30,000-40,000 years ago… the Scientists believe that it was made by the Denisovans…

Let’s not dwell on the beauty if the bracelet but let’s focus on the small hole at the side of the bracelet which is tiny… about 1mm in Diameter.

The scientists who ran physical tests on this say that, “it could have been made only using a high speed drill, otherwise the stone would’ve shattered…”

A High Speed Drill 30,000 years ago…Fascinting…

A direct quote from the report…
“Strangely, However, DNA evidences also suggests that, at some point, the Denisovans must have interbred with an as yet unknown and undiscovered species of human beings… ”

Meaning…

Just like we have the Denisovan DNA, the Denisovans have DNA belonging to another human species which we have not discovered yet.

There are Mysteries to be solved…Discoveries to be made… if we are curious enough to challenge our exisiting beliefs and look for the evidence…
Science is opening up the way now…

Does this prove the existance of Giants?
Not Yet…

Am I saying the Giants in the Epics are Denisovans?
No.

But, I hope that I have given enough to challenge your thoughts and look for more.

It may seem weird to you now but not for long…
Towards the end I’ll make my intentions clear.
First let me start from my basic decoding…

Chariot of the Seven Horses.

सप्ताश्व रथमारूढम् प्रचंडम् कश्यपात्मजम्
श्वेत पद्मधरम् देवम् तम् सूर्यम् प्रणमाम्यहम्

Surya deva the Sun God is always depicted in a chariot pulled by seven horses and his charioteer being Aruna.
As you may know, every problem starts with the question “Why?”
So “Why does only Surya Deva has a chariot of seven horses…?”
Simple explaination suggests that…..The Sun Light is made of Seven Colours…
Consider each Horse symbolising each Colour of the VIBGYOR…
Thus, SEVEN COLOURS – SEVEN HORSES.

In some temples,(ancient and new) there is a special room devoted to the NavaGrahas…

If you pay close attention, you’ll notice that Surya deva is in the centre and surrounded by the remaining eight planets.
It candidly suggests that The Sun is in the centre and all the planets revolve around it.
According to our education system…This Idea was first proposed by Nicolas Corpenicus in early 16th century.
But,
Around 500 BCE, Aryabhata presented a mathematical system that took the Earth to spin on its axis and considered the motions of the planets with respect to the Sun.
He also made an accurate approximation of the Earth’s circumference and diameter, and also discovered how the lunar eclipse and solar eclipse happen for the first time.
He gives the radius of the planetary orbits in terms of the radius of the Earth/Sun orbit as essentially their periods of rotation around the Sun.
He was also the earliest to discover that the orbits of the planets around the Sun are ellipses.
Now we know that he’s not the first one.

But that’s not it, If you just look at ancient scriptures and statues you’ll notice that the horses are linked to the chariot by means of snakes.
Again “Why Snakes?”
What then it Struck me Lightning…
How do snakes move?
Yes…Snakes Slither…in a wavy motion…

See…If Horses represent Light and they are connected to the Chariot by Snakes..
And when you simply put two and two together…
It suggests that light travels as a wave.

Just try to presume in this manner…If horses represent staright line motion and snakes represent the wavy motion…it points to one thing…
The Dual Nature Of Light!!! (a.k.a. The Wave Particle Duality)
(Well, Geeks out there can understand)
The dual nature of the light is explained in the Early 20th centuary by a French Physicist Louis de Broglie.
Hence, The phenomenon discovered by de Broglie in 1924 is might be actually discovered by our sages Thousands of years ago.

It’s Awesome …Isn’t it?
